I would like to thank you and the rest of the greeters for what you do. My group and I from 10th CAB came through Pease early morning on the 14th, and your group showed up in force. I have been deployed numerous times, and I have seen other greeting groups, but this was the first time that I have had a ceremony like the one that was done for us. From All of us, I would like to offer you a heart felt thank you.

thank you from the bottom of my heart. My son called me today to tell me of the loving send off his team received from your group. As a mom...whose baby (lol) is deploying, hearing of your appreciation for what he does is very heartwarming and greatly appreciated. May God Bless all of you who made one leg of his trip a better experience. God bless our troops past and present!!!!

I woke up this morning to get an unexpected call from my son who left for deployment last night. He sounded rested and happier than last night when I said good bye to him and told him I would be praying for him and couldn't wait to talk to him once he got to his destination. He called just a few minutes ago to tell me he was in New Hampshire and was getting ready to fly out to Germany. He said when they got to the airport hundreds of supporters were there from a group called the Pease Greeters to show their support and to give them a send off. He told me all about how they stood and clapped for them, had food and coffee for them, how they got to talk to some of the veterans and spend time with them. They each were given a bag of food and other items in a bag. One of which was a star from a retired Anerican flag with a poem. Each American soldier could take a star with them knowing they will not be forgotten. I can't tell you how happy I am right now knowing all of you were there for my son this morning giving him and the others such a heartfelt warm and memorable send off. It means a lot to me, my husband and I could tell, my son too. I can't wait to tell my co-workers and family this morning. Keep up the good work and God bless you who were there this morning and our soldiers. Oh and he also said they stayed there from 2:30 in the morning until they boarded the plane at 5:30. Thank you. I feel better now.

I got the opportunity to bring some of my residents over to Pease to greet the troops when they came home. It was one of the most amazing experiences in my time at UNH. I plan on coming back and bringing more people!

I was stationed at Pease '65 to '67, 1916th Comm Sqdn AFCS. I go back periodically just to recall those days. I am so glad to hear that my favorite base has taken on such a wonderful task, wish I lived closer and could volunteer.

Thank you the kind welcome you gave my son Billy on November 1st in the pm. He was on his way to Qatar. He called to tell us how wonderful he and his fellow soldiers were treated by the Peace Greeters. May the good Lord continue to bless you and your families.
Gratefully, Kathleen and Victor Ramirez

Thank you so much for the reception and send-off that your organization gave my group of Soldiers and civilians on October 25 as we were on our way to Afghanistan. It was an honor to meet so many of the volunteers and veterans who paved the way for us to continue to serve this great country. I have been through a welcome before, but nothing as remarkable as the reception the pease greeters gave us. Thank you again and I hope to have the opportunity to fly through your location again after my tour is complete.
