I wanted to thank all you PEASE greeters. I did not know of your kindness until my son came home from Afganistan early this morning. He a 1Lt with the 82nd Airborne and is a MEDEVAC pilot. We thank God for his safe return and we thank God for your expressions of love.

I have only gone two times, so far, and have enjoyed it so much. I was there on Saturday March 13th 2010 to see the British troops off to England. Seeing the expressions on their faces and reading their letters brought such joy to me. I want to say thank you so much for the organizers of this group.

I have so thoroughly enjoyed going to Pease to welcome our troops. I wish I was able to go for every flight but we're just not close enough to make every one. I am glad to be able to say we were there on Saturday the 13th for the return home flight of the British Army. You could tell by their expressions that they were happy and all the letters just prove it. It is a great time and a great experience. Everyone should try to go a least once. You won't regret it.

Dear Pease Greeters, I had the pleasure of being greeted by your members on Saturday 13 Mar 2010. I have never experienced anything quite like it, your support, pride and love for members of the Armed Forces was evident. I felt both humbled and emotional to be received in such a way by people I have never met. Thank you for being who you are; giving, unselfish and generous. People like you serve as a reminder of what goodness mankind still has to offer despite what is happening around the world. God bless all of you, long may you continue as Pease Greeters.

During the last two weeks we hosted our British allies in an exchange between our Army staff colleges. We made some great new friends among some of our most reliable military allies in the world. I received a very nice email from a fellow instructor on their staff expressing total "shock and awe" at the greetings that were rendered to the UK contingent on the way home to Britain. He couldn't say enough nice things about their courteous, enthusiastic, and tremendously friendly greeting by the Pease Greeters.

God bless you for doing this! You've made life-long friends of those British soldiers as they were treated as our own. Thank you for taking care of our friends and allies!!

Thank you for such a wonderful reception on Saturday 13th March 2010. Your support and kindness will remain with me forever. I may have recovered from my jet-lag but I will never recover from the shock of such a welcome as that given by the Pease Greeters of New Hampshire. Keep up the good work.
God Bless America!
