I just wanted to say this is a wonderful group of people, my grandfather passed away March 4, 2010, he was a veteran and had a veterans funeral here in South Florida. The Pease Greeters found out about it and sent out stars to my whole family for us to keep close with us so we would never forget. I wish there was more I could do, I would love to be a Pease Greeter and welcome home all out troops, but we dont have an organization down here in Florida. If there is any way to start one please let me know.

I learned of Pease Greeters from a piece that ABC Evening News did and recently a short article in AARP magazine about the knitting caps program. I'm moved to tears to learn of such a dedicated group of people who are honoring our troops. My youngest son is a soldier and will soon deploy to Afghanistan. Thank you for letting our troops that we're proud of them and thankful for their sacrifices.
Admin reply: Thank you for your kind words. Speaking for the Pease Greeters we very much appreciate your expression of gratitude. Our very best to your son.

I just want to thank the Board of Directors, the Lady Greeters and all the other Pease Greeter volunteers for allowing me to be a part of your group. My only regret is not being able to make every flight. Your dedication and support to our (and sometimes foreign) Military members makes me proud to call myself a Pease Greeter.

I wanted to thank all you PEASE greeters. I did not know of your kindness until my son came home from Afganistan early this morning. He a 1Lt with the 82nd Airborne and is a MEDEVAC pilot. We thank God for his safe return and we thank God for your expressions of love.

I have only gone two times, so far, and have enjoyed it so much. I was there on Saturday March 13th 2010 to see the British troops off to England. Seeing the expressions on their faces and reading their letters brought such joy to me. I want to say thank you so much for the organizers of this group.

I have so thoroughly enjoyed going to Pease to welcome our troops. I wish I was able to go for every flight but we're just not close enough to make every one. I am glad to be able to say we were there on Saturday the 13th for the return home flight of the British Army. You could tell by their expressions that they were happy and all the letters just prove it. It is a great time and a great experience. Everyone should try to go a least once. You won't regret it.

Dear Pease Greeters, I had the pleasure of being greeted by your members on Saturday 13 Mar 2010. I have never experienced anything quite like it, your support, pride and love for members of the Armed Forces was evident. I felt both humbled and emotional to be received in such a way by people I have never met. Thank you for being who you are; giving, unselfish and generous. People like you serve as a reminder of what goodness mankind still has to offer despite what is happening around the world. God bless all of you, long may you continue as Pease Greeters.
